The design of Piccola Enoteca is unique in many ways. One of the main challenges was to create an inviting entrance within the limited width of the street-facing facade. The solution was a series of balconies enclosed by black handrails, forming a visually striking composition reminiscent of an abstract painting. The interior of the restaurant is equally impressive, with a variety of materials including metal, wood, and marble used to create a rich, textured environment.

Another unique feature of Piccola Enoteca is the use of color. Each floor of the restaurant has a distinct color scheme, providing visual cues to visitors while maintaining a unified aesthetic. The basement, for example, is designed to evoke the feeling of a mysterious grotto, with a dark color palette and starry lighting fixtures.

The design process for Piccola Enoteca took place over a period of two years, from April 2016 to June 2018, with construction completed in December 2018. The project was carried out in Zhubei City, Taiwan, and was inspired by the owner's desire to provide a more comfortable dining space for customers to enjoy not only the food, but also the culture and environment of Italy.
